Just watched the two Lancasters fly over on route to Eastbourne air show.  Very low and slow at 1500ft and 134kts (the Canadian one had its transponder on)

Must have camera ready next time

Cool!

Are you sure they are off to Eastbourne and not Akrotiri?  lol:

 rubschin:    lol:

You can track them on Flight Radar.  The reg is C-GVRA

There were three RAF and one CAF Hercules on the apron at Akrotiri the other day...

...plus the six Tornadoes...

..a couple of Griffins...

..a brace of Chinook...

and some State Department Sikorskys.....
  interesting times

Should also be a highly modified ugly as hell Joint Rivet fit 707 too according to the Beeb.  Bet they won't let anyone near that.
Well, whatever, nevermind

Unfortunately due to the forecast the BBMF is cancelled today. However we have a great line up ahead starting with the #RedArrows at 12!

Still we had them fly nearly direct overhead for 3 days.  Thursday: "what was that noise", Friday: "that must be the Lancasters" but just out of sight by the time we got out.  Saturday: great view of them and the Spit and Hurricane "should have had the camera ready".  Sunday:  rained off.

Well, whatever, nevermind
