Rereading their website, they have something similar but not what I have in mind. I may still be in with a shot.  rubschin:

It's a Wetherspoon pub so - as usual - is full of pensioners (Nick), students (Nick) and local alchies (Nick).

The uni nearby obviously specialises in music as vast numbers of the students have guitars slung across their backs with "ACM" emblazoned thereon "Academy for Creative Music". Most are sporting poor efforts of beards and all could use a few good meals as their legs are thinner than the necks of their guitars.  No females with guitars,  because women can't play guitar.  Or drive. Or understand the offside rule. Or anything to do with cricket.

Quite a few Spanish types around, but not seen a Burka or any black people so far. Perhaps there is a bye-law preventing such things...

No, I've had an idea for a renewable energy generating system with a massive output potential. There are similar concepts but mine is a lot simpler so in theory easier to develop.

Checked the European Patent archive online but that didn't really help. 500 article search limit, out of the 19 potential bastards who beat me to it competitors Only one seems obviously close but it can be incorporated into my idea to save me development time. Unfortunately I can't read the Chinese or Greek abstracts so I can't tell if they have already patented it.
