what kind of sick holidays do you go on?!  Malta is now certainly off my list of places to visit.

Malta is OKish.   I do remember we stayed at the Radisson (always good) and our room looked out on the pool and every day there was this beached whale that insisted on bathing topless     What we refer to as a road accident woman.  You know it's going to be an awful sight but you know you are going to look

Apart from that horror it was quite pictoresque.  Worth 3 days maybe 4

I know what you mean, we do a gorgeous wedding venue that is on a huge balcony terrace but overlooks a pool, surrounded by huge russin wimin in thongs. Also, huuuge russian men in thongs.  Kind of takes away from your special moment.

The original Mrs Road Accident was the name we gave to a woman who lived opposite us in the house before this one.  She was less than svelte having secured a lifetime's supply of pies and eaten them all before she was 30.  And she loved sun bathing in a dayglo orange one piece swimming costume in that clingy material that shows every crease - and on her there were many more than needed

And she'd do this in her front garden.
