Couple of hours spent checking and shifting stock then a leisurely drink with the gang afterwards, think today is going to be the only relaxed day this week.

62 and a half hours to go till we launch and there is still loads to get done...  scared2:

Front of house to start with (depending on specialisations afterwards) for a bar opening up in town. The chain is expanding at an incredible rate given the current climate (one new bar a month with an aim to increase that to three) so I figured this was a good company to get in at the bottom with and work my way up.

Got sick of the whole IT/dialler specialist malarkey and if I hadn't drifted into the call centre industry in the first place I'd have been running my own place(s) by now.

Went to the Hay Festival yesterday so today was a staying put day.  Off to the Lake District tomorrow.  Wonder what it is going to be like.  rubschin:

I looked up things to do in the Lake District and all I could find were 36 walks round lakes?

Were you expecting to find desert camel rides?  rubschin:

A new business plan   Quick go patent it.

In my limited, biased and likely distorted view there really isn't too much to do in the Lake District but it is worth seeing.  We had great weather but couldn't be doing with all that walking crap.  Coniston was spookily quiet and still, almost as if Campbell had only died the day before.

Worth a diversion, not worth a trip imho.  Sorry Tipsy
Well, whatever, nevermind
