Yes, i don't even have to seal the end of the vac hose - it just lowers the pressure enough in the coffee jar to suck the oil out!  ;D

The wind got up a bit and I realised that if it blew over the Dyson would ingest a jar full of gear oil...  scared2:

...so shortly after some wooden supports were added.  ;)
