Fixing the washing machine...  evil:

How did you break it this time?  noooo:

Worn out shock absorbers... again...

It is like Trigger's Broom...  noooo:
;D and  eeek:  How old is it?

Ours last 5 years and then off to the great utility room in the sky.  How amazing that that's just about a week after the extended warranties last

If it wasn't for the fact that there wasn't electricity back in those days I'd have said it was almost as old as BM...  noooo:

Miele are to white goods what VW used to be to cars.  More expensive but reliable

Coincidentally, a letter has just arrived.  The gist of which is

Dear Mrs K

Your LG washer/dryer will run out of its 5 year warranty on March 9th.  Pay £72.50 now for a years extension (WTF?) or we will arrange for it to breakdown for a third time on March 10th

 rubschin:

The phrase 'fuck that, when it fails again we'll get a Miele like what BM has" comes to mind

Still look on the bright side, at least it wasn't a Whirlpool that would have burnt the house down.
Well, whatever, nevermind

It is built like a brick shithouse...  lol:

Plus spare parts are readily available - I just call Miele, tell them the model and the bits I need and they ship it out COD...  Thumbs:

I have no idea if they still make them the same way this century of course...  noooo:

He died on Valentines Day - The Man is now using this as an excuse that he can never, ever be expected to participate in this day in future.  ::)
