Had a guy come to shave the bottoms of the doors this morning in readiness for new carpets etc on friday

He told us they are all knackered

Yep, done it once and never again.  It's not often I've wished I had an extra arm or three but that was one of those times

I can't believe how many holes in the wall need filling and sanding and how big a hole it makes when you remove skirting board.
