sadsmiley30:  waiting for 'Daniel' from BT to turn up
Daniel is a smart cookie and is on the case

"I told them last week there is a bust circuit card in the cabinet but they won't listen and they make me go round this silly procedure"

Popcorn:

I feel for you dealing with BT... My experience of them is abysmal...  noooo:

I have to say, the teleco here (Cyta) although probably more expensive than BT offer just exceptional service and support... You can call them up on a Sunday, speak to a human and get any issue fixed immediately...  eeek:
Of course they were forced to separate Open Reach out.  To a JV with  . . . .

 . . . .  wait for it . . . . .Carillion   facepalm:

But an update:  Daniel has failed to fix it because their procedures require him to get authorisation before allocating me another port.  And there has been a fire at the building where port reallocations are handled.   I suspect it may be in Derby (see that other thread)

BT run our HR / Finance / Payroll systems

The software they have is truly, truly, truly, abysmal.

Nothing about it is user friendly or helpful or accurate or responsive.

It is the most shitiest of shite things ever designed
