Will do

Hotel is excellent, so was the free transfer. Your recommendation skills are top notch Miss D

Just one tiny problem

Well, whatever, nevermind

I am so pleased Steve - it's always a risk recommending something you like  cloud9: cloud9: cloud9: The free transfer was such a bonus and stops so much hassle .

How long are you staying for ? Don't let that boring old rain stop you ....

3 nights, back Wednesday.  And thanks again cos yes you were brave.

It's hard to put in words just how good this hotel is but so much is just so right (as is Murano).

Well except for the big glass egg timers on display in the Venini display cabinet.  Mrs K took a shine to them so I looked them up €742 each  eeek:.  Even she said no at that

Well, whatever, nevermind

I'm sure they will be fine being off loaded at Gatwick by TMR and his crew  scared2:

Well it turns out Murano has 3 types of glass shops

- utter tat prolly made in China
- bonkers expensive and often over elaborated. Saw one piece for €2900 and looked away quick
- pricey but classy

€€€ later we think we did the latter but who knows

Murano is like Venice but not. Much less hectic, much quieter and even more friendly

And no gondolas

Well, whatever, nevermind

Oooh i remember those views  cloud9: cloud9: cloud9:

Quite jawdropping some of the prices ..but I'm sure we went for the tat end of the market . lol:

Its lovely to walk around the island especially if you have spent a few hours in Venice and enjoy the contrast  and the friendly people
