LL fell on it...  noooo:

She obviously had her eye on a new one and just needed to perfect the stunt fall

Actually I had my eye on a new one....  whistle:

...and they are on sale this weekend!

What's new in telebox technology nowadays?

Dunno... shrugs:...

Got the latest slightly bigger version of the one we had before...

Sorted...

Why not go for a lot bigger, just demolish a wall if you have to.  Once upon a time you needed a mortgage for a 50" TV not now.  I could weep that we paid over a grand for one a few years back.  And it's not UHD

I like your thinking but it is only a small apartment...  lol:

Ah

IIRC that means it'd be a waste as there's a ratio of screen size to distance from it that's optimum.

Do they still sell those curved screens?  3D seems to have disappeared, twas good occasionally.  I'd love a TV with 10 HDMI inputs I can use like channel numbers but do they sell those?   noooo:

Found out the other week that my TV has a satellite receiver in it that can receive ~1,000 channels of utter crap German TV.  Why? Shrugs:
Well, whatever, nevermind

Just discovered that newtellybox doesn't like some .avi files....  Banghead

Newtellybox has an antenna socket - I wonder how many of those are ever connected...?  rubschin: Well, I suppose Cypriots would...

Have arranged to see The Boy in Hull next weekend. He shyly texts, " I think I may have met someone".

Being modern Dad I texted back, "Do you want to bring him/her to lunch?"  angel1

Back when I was working for BHF we used to get mahoosive plasma screens and rear projection screen teleboxes in all the time when the owners got tired of them and wanted the latest model.

The hardest part of the job on those days was not to piss myself laughing when the pointy haired manager we had kept trying to demonstrate the rear projection ones in the window...  lol:

As an experiment we stripped the bulbs out of one that was too banged up to sell and replaced them with halogen stage light equivalents...

It will give you a clear screen in all environments but you may want to have sunglasses handy...  lol:
