Finally put up new light fitting we've had ina  box for 2 months.  Why is it always such a bastard job?

And tomorrow will have to take it down again as had to add strengthening to the ceiling and now that needs painting

Plain and functional isn’t it but the least worst option we could find for getting the best part of 5,000 lumens into the room.

And it’s got all sorts of cleverness built in

That’s why it took 2 months to work out how to put it up without ripping out the ceiling

Why the manufacturers think their puny fixing plate with just 4 holes will align with rafters is just bizarre

But we’ve tried that incl up lighting and they’re just a pain that either misses the main part of the room or gets in the way
