Well it's just one day a year we go Arty and twas a good one

Royal Society Of Miniatures (the Mall):  free annual showing, excellent as ever and once again bought stuff when we promised we wouldn't 

Bob Dylan exhibition (Bond Street - also free):  surprisingly excellent, even Mrs K (no Dylan or Art fan) loved it.  £35k for a painting (some v good) but that was an easy 'no', £45 for the book was a 'yes'.  £2k for framed signed prints of lyrics + drawings was a bit harder 'no' but we managed it on account of not actually having a spare money tree.

So if you're in London next 2 days (Dylan) or 10 days (Miniatures) both are well worth an hour of your time

Nod told me earlier that many years ago he worked in a school that introduced a House system. A discussion started about what the houses should be called,

One junior member of staff, ambitious and eager to curry favour with the management, suggested the Houses should be named after members of the management team.

Nod pointed out that the Head was called Mr Hoare.

And that was the end of that!
