Was it a public parking space or was it marked with something like "Deputy Mayor" or something along those lines? There is at least one public car park down here that has spaces marked and reserved for certain people?

I sympathise actually...

The fuckers on Maidenhead council reduced the parking to free (or 10p or summat) after 6pm. It did wonders for congestion in the town in the evening but of course reduced the opportunities to stick a £50 ticket on somebody that had popped into town for a kebab or a pint... ::)

So of course they put the charges in the car parks back up to daytime rates, the car parks were empty and the town was full of dumped cars in the evening...  noooo:

The fan on my gas fire packed up on Sunday, so I called in a repair man. He arrived just now, turned on the fire and it worked perfectly  Banghead
