I wonder if Apple's sharp downturn is because word got out that Nick bought one rather than customers finally waking up to their 'interesting' business practices.....

Some while back Nod persuaded his bonkers mother that agreeing to grant lasting Power of Attorney to him would be a good idea, if the need arose.

He has decided that she is now so bonkers that he has activated it.

Given that he has done this on the grounds that she is bonkers she has, naturally, gone bonkers...........

She is getting the locks changed on her house tomorrow 

Meantime, Nod is going to her bank to seize control of all her assets. Can there be a good outcome?

Advise Nod to keep an eye on the local news. If she realises that she hasn't got the resources for a solicitor then she may decide that is the way to go and 'ungrateful son steals from mother' is the sort of story that local media tends to salivate over. I've seen a few of them down here where the truth was pretty much exactly the same as Nod's position.
