I am still at the hyper careful stage with Fifi. Jim had more dings and dents than I could count, but I knew where his corners where.
Fifi is pristine and has slightly different sight lines (especially when reversing
) so I am treating her very gently.
This will change
Yarp, I'm still not entirely confident where the nearside of Kia-Ora is... It has a much higher waist than the owld Panjero....
You've got a reversing camera tho...?
New cars is a bugger like that. Can't see sod all where the edges are on either the Rav 4 or the turbo nutter. And neither has a front facing camera. Still dead pedestrians can't sue can they
A good point about pedestrians...
Kia (and Hyundai) seem to have dumped 'auto park' (which is the coolest thing evah but Miss A never uses it on her Hyundai) in favour of 3600 camera view...
I wonder if there have been a few casualties while the 'driver' was watching the 'now select 'R'' display intently...?
Autopark is shite
Use it once (on the T-nutter) successfully and it's more than a little disconcerting how aggressively it moves the steering wheel. If you make one tiny error in the sequence to select it then it won't work and when I tried to show it off it was happily aiming for a cone it hadn't spotted
A geekerism too far
Miss A is right on 360
o. Mrs K's previous car had it, yes you have to keep cleaning the forward facing cam lens but it's just brilliant.
