Where to?  rubschin:
Shrugs:

Just got to be ready by 7 smart casual (oh and bring credit card to split bill - which will not be cheap)

This year my brother and sister in law get to choose, next year we have to find a mystery country themed restaurant.

Where do you go when Mexican, British, French, Chinese, USA, Hungary, Poland, Peru, Argentinian, Cuban, Turkish, Greek, Egypt, Iranian, Swiss, Swedish, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, African, Portuguese and several others have already been done?

Well, whatever, nevermind

There was one near here run by two Cypriots but they realised the non Cypriot part of the menu was the one selling so that's all they do now.  And another one closed down.

Doesn't Cypriot food tend to be rebadged Greek.  There's one in Brighton, looks good but says it's Greek Cypriot food so guess what it'll really be:  Greek

Trying to find a Vietnamese that isn't a cheap dive.  It's that smell of napalm thing

Well, whatever, nevermind

The Cypriots are very proud of their cuisine and would be most upset at your describing it as Greek.

If the restaurant owner is a Cypriot then his Greek Cypriot (as opposed to Turkish Cypriot) menu would be well worth a try!

What you reckon on this then?  Different enough from Greek?  To misuse a phrase it's all Greek to me
