The place I own...  evil:

Renter is in the UK at the moment so am trying to co-ordinate termite death with his availability... ::)

Solution is to drill 1m deep (10mm) holes all over the house and squirt stuff down them...  eeek:

The Pest Man says that the termites thrive in areas that used to grow Carob Trees... I guess we are lucky that the house has survived since 2004...  rubschin:

It's just a huge problem in any warm country.  Oz has big issues with them.  Doesn't help that many countries use their plentiful wood as the main structures of houses.  Termites just love that as preservatives only protect for so long
