A call floods in from my oldest and bestest mate. HIs daughter is getting married next week. She is 35 and a nurse.

He reports that she and her betrothed are using the Rolling Stones' Sympathy for the Devil as their wedding music    shrugs: shrugs: whacky115 whacky115

Day 4

Early start with an 8Km walk along the beach in the fog!

Then off to Stellenbosch, stopping on the way at the Ken Forrester Winery for a wine tasting…

On to Stellenbosch, sushi for lunch then explore the town including a quick whizz around the museum. Then a beer with some people watching and home to watch Arsenal...

What's with the pigs? in the last pics?

BTW my niece just sent me a pic of her and hers atop Table Mountain today.    At this rate is anyone going to be left in the Northern Hemisphere?
Well, whatever, nevermind

Cape Town Day 5

Another great day!

A quick (very quick!) 6Km walk in the fog.

Then off to The Spier Winery for a wine tasting and a look around their fascinating bird sanctuary and interactive sculptures.

Then on to the Jordan Winery for the most amazing lunch (Mussels, Hake and a visit to the cheese room) then home…
