It seems that temporarily going completely blind in one eye is a sure sign of TIE.

Got an appointment at the hospital Thursday morning to get my whole head tested and in the meantime heavy doses of aspirin.

Good question...

I have to move out of this place in April...

So the new apartment gives the options of: -

1) Living in it from about October - saving monthly rental
2) Giving it a coat of paint and knocking it out at a profit
3) Renting it out long-term (a year at a time) for ~€700 per month
4) Renting it out for holibobs during the season for ~€800 per week

1) being most likely at the moment but it will depend on what happens to our other place when our renter leaves in April...

I couldn't cope.  Moving house is a huge stress in itself and then there's having to memorise a whole different walk back from the pub
