Oh noes, I don't really see the point of those... shrugs:

I 'inherited' a bike from our Russian neighbours...

I had it serviced last week and took it out today...

My expectation (given that I walked over 150Km last month) was that it would be a piece of piss - I used to ride London to Paris with no issues FFS!

I nearly died...  noooo:

Maybe that's the logic behind electric bikes.  But what do I know, to me bikes are the tool of the devil terrorising pedestrians, infuriating drivers and filling up A&E - well at least in the UK they are

But according to my bike nut brother the electric is to get you up the hills so you get the fun, exercise and battery charging on the flat.   Having seen him with a smashed collar bone and other injuries I'm a committed 4 wheels and ideally all insanely driven person.  If I want exercise (I don't) then I'll get the Wii Fit going again and watch TV while pretending to run
Well, whatever, nevermind

It is a lose weight/get fit thing so lektrik would be pointless IMHO....

Funny enough, a bloke I know got an lektrik one and he has broken his wrist (twice) and an ankle since he got it...  noooo:
