Me: Fine thanks

Long pause while he stares at  me

Doc: So, how are you?
Me: Fine thanks, how are you?
Doc: Very well, thanks

Longer pause

Doc: So, how are you?
Me: Why do you keep asking how I am?
Doc: I am a doctor

At this point I think he thinks I have Alzheimer's

Doc: So, what brings you here?
Me: I have no idea

Doc is looking at me intently

Me: You wanted to see me
Doc: Did I?
Me: Yes, you made the appointment, not me.
Doc: Oh. Um. Shall I take your blood pressure?
Me: Why?
Doc: No reason.
Me: Is that it then?
Doc: I suppose so

I leave
