Finally got everything in line to transfer the new apartment to our name tomorrow...  cloud9:

Should have been the end of July but there have been various delays, not least of which was getting the developer to remove their huge mortgage from it... ::)

So run down to the bank to pick up two Banker's Drafts... Bank manager was pre-warned but his colleague was out today and he can only sign up to €20,000 on his own... So we have six Banker's Drafts...  lol:

Now off to the solicitor in Limassol to drop them off so they can handle the whole thing tomorrow morning without me having to set foot in The Land Registry office...

Then off to dinner with friends in Limassol... I've promised to re-wire some lights for them so must remember to start that before I start pouring collapso down my throat...  scared2:

Just.............. noooo:.......to all.......... whistle:

they say it was for 20 minutes

FWIW the Dartford Tunnel wasn't clever either with 1 hour delays due to an accident
Well, whatever, nevermind

On balance you would have been better off pouring the collapsio down your throat first..  noooo:

The tailback was from Heathrow to Junction 10. I heard the first traffic warning at about 11 and heard the all clear at about 3!

Problem is it's often a nightmare on that stretch so a 20 minute closure can easily eff it up for hours
