Mrs K wants to look at another expensive possible new car facepalm:

 eeek: eeek: eeek:

Mind you its either that or redecorating  lol:
lol: lol: lol:

I got lucky, turns out the car (Volvo XC40 PHEV) is only announced and won't be available before March.  I buy cars new but I run them into the ground over 10+ years and so far well over 100k miles each.  Mrs K has had her hybrid Rav 4 a whole 20 months and now she wants a PHEV (plug in hybrid) to save money.  Where's the logic in that?

How much more than the petrol version is it...?

[temps fate mode] well she's had her Hybrid Rav 4 since January last year and it's a fair decent vehicle and no dramas so far and jeez does it accelerate from 0 to 20 like a rocket.  Bit gutless over 50 though
Well, whatever, nevermind

Tell me about it

We go through about 200 gallons of petrol a year each.  We'd never get the money back.
