Well we're here in Port Macquarie and less than burnt to a crisp.  Yes you can smell (well actually taste) the smoke in the air but it's very slight

Closest we've got to celebrity status was sitting at table next to Andrew Neil for din dins at Heathrow and seeing Steve Smith (Oz cricketer of some fame and infamy) in Sydney.
