Doctors (for me) then Doctors (for her) then off to Londinium for our annual dabble in things arty at the Miniatures exhibition
Day off today After the last few days of dealing with hyperactive kids on a sugar high as well as the constant power surges killing screens last night I'm happily enjoying the peace and quiet.

Last night was great fun It takes around 5-10 minutes to reset the servers and let the projector bulbs cool down enough before they can be restarted and then another 5 for them to warm up. So we'd go through all that for the affected screens then around 10-15 minutes later we'd have another surge and have to start all over again.

So it is all digital, no film...?Yep, under normal circumstances it makes things a lot easier and gives us leeway in being able to show the same film in multiple screens it if is a big release. Having said that we do have a mahoosive old film projector in the bar as a decoration...
