About 2 hours ago: Mrs K calls from the kitchen "the wishdosher's broken"I investigate: bad news it isn't doing anything, good news it isn't doing anything not even lights (usually means supply fault)However it's a built in machine (in recent kitchen rebuild) so that means taking apart cupboard an working under another to investigate . I try looking at the fuse on the switched spur and mysteriously I can't get fuse out. So working in confined space and multiple head bashes later I remove said switch spur and the outlet wire has pulled out of the back of it. Seemingly because (a) never tightened and (b) the excess heat from a high res connection has melted the inside of the unit (hence why the fuse wouldn't come out). More head bruises later I replace the whole thing and wishdosher returns to working.FFS though the guy that put it in wasn't some Polak refugee qualified year after next berk, he was a long practising Brit. What other electrics has he effed up in our house and others?So do I dob him in?
