I think the reasoning is that in 35+ heat for  most of the year any organic waste turns into puke within hours of being put out...

They used to take everything but EU roolz (::)) are restricting things like garden waste so we put that shit out in green bin bags and they send a truck round once a week to take it away somewhere...

We're also blessed with Skip Rats so anything else you don't want (old TV, ironing board, manky suitcase, etc.) can just be left in the street and disappears in hours...  lol:
