Yeah ..not worried long term..but we need to earn 12 months money in 7? ..not possible this year ....also don't want to sell house ..and "waste" money ...

IMHO unless you intend to live in a house get a good estate agent and get rid.

We bought a can of Teak Oil when we bought our dining table in 1980.  Think we've used the oil on it twice since, certainly still got same tin.  Whether that's because Mrs K is worried about explosions or that we have a common 'can't be arsed' gene I know not
 
We now have a small surface in the kitchen that we're supposed to oil regularly, done it twice in 2 years.  Might get done again before 2022 and might not.  Can't be too safe and all that  whistle:
