Been for a brisk 3 mile walk, nippy outside, supplies purchased and...
Lexus knackered....
That went a few years ago..uncomfortable Audi oil burner now....
Oil...
It might be better on fuel 40mpg vs 18 - but in every other way it's fairly annoying. Bone-jarring ride, stooopid infotainment system, expensive tyres, crap heater, annoying nannying warning messages (I know it's cold, I scraped the ice off before I drove it) and a general flimsiiness of the stalks/switches etc.
But apart from that is it okay...?
I love oil burners now, the Pajero was my first but it drank the stuff...
Kia-Ora is amazing for a 1.7 that sips it...
Oh it's great round corners and that encourages "enthusiastic" driving, but get to 4,500rpm and it hits the buffers...and the automatic gearchange is sooooo slow, even in sport mode. The owld Lexus spun up to 7,000 and changed gear quicker.
Still miss the screaming mad rush of the GSX-R750 at 14,000rpm just before the rev-limiter kicked in and turned the exhaust note into machine-gun fire.
