Setting up the new laptop...  cloud9:
Popcorn:

LL and I have great Asus laptops... Mine is betterer obvs. ::)

But Mr. Laptop has been playing up a bit recently and I've been looking for a replacement... It prolly just needs a damn good Factory Reset but not entirely practical as I use it all day every day.  scared2:

Anyhoo.... Some bloke in the village was selling another Asus i7 laptop which I got for €290 with Win 10 Pro and Office... It has 8Gb and a 1Tb HDD so I've just ordered another 8GB and a 1TB SSD... So I'll have a great laptop and a spare...  whistle:

 cloud9:

I have a spare...  whistle:

Clearing a space now ..... Thumbs:

Don't clear too much...  ;)

I've just ordered a 1Tb SSD for the new one but currently using it with a hard drive... soooooo slow!  eeek:

The first hard drive I sold was 5MB... formatted as 4 x 1.2MB so it looked like four 8" floppy drives to the OS...  noooo:

I remember asking at work why on earth we needed to buy a PDP11 with 40MB storage on it  redface:

My Asus notebooks were wonderful, one died when the cat pissed on it and the other just couldn't hack Win 10 + multiple tab browsing so one day Mrs K said something like 'stop moaning and buy yourself a really good one'  so I did and got a Surface and 3 years on it still is rather good.
Well, whatever, nevermind
