The last few weeks have been hellish  surrender: surrender: surrender:

The Brat has had some weirdo from Uni harassing her ( up to 40 calls a day ) - so she changed her phone number and then he has been creating all sorts of social media stuff in her name and a lot of other stuff I probably know very little about. This had been going on for some time so she made an online enquiry with the police and the next day they turned up at the door and stayed for over 2 hours whilst they collated the evidence .  Anyways - the bloke has now been arrested and charged - they did a 6am raid on his home where he lives with his mum apparently  eeek:

Then The Man also sent off his routine bowel screening test and this came back with concerns. So 2 weeks ago he went in for a Colonoscopy which suggested there was a cancerous tumour ( he had absolutely no symptoms prior to this !! ) . By the Wednesday of this week they had organised an MRI scan. Thursday a CT scan . Friday genetic testing  eeek:.
Last Monday we had a virtual consultation that confirmed the fears however the good news is this seems localised to the area  and is deemed very much treatable. An appointment with the surgeon took place last Friday who went through the operation and all things around the treatment plan. Surgery will be taking place within the next 2 weeks.

In this horrible situation  I feel very fortunate on the timing of this  - we had postponed our wedding to July and if all goes well that should still be possible.

Given where the NHS is now in terms of transitioning back to 'normal' services I just don't think this would have been fast tracked the way it has if this was a few months ago . They even organised for him to get his 2nd Covid vaccination yesterday  ( which had been scheduled for the end of April)  to prep for hospital. He is likely to be going to a 'green' covid free hospital which is private but which the NHS are still using at the current time for cancer treatment .

So thankful for the positives in this but my god I need the pub to open  surrender: surrender: surrender:

jeez Miss D   noooo:

Apologies I missed this earlier with other posting.  The NHS is good when it comes to serious matters like this.  Hope it all goes to plan and he's well on route to being fully recovered well in time for July

Impressed with the police too but that is a huge worry none of you needed.
Well, whatever, nevermind

Good grief, that is a whole heap all at once. Keep your chin up  happy100.
I must say these bowel screening tests do seem to pick these things up quite well, a friend of ours had a similar lucky experience catching a problem early.
Good luck my dear.
