Either that or they have decided that after lockdown and furlough you are all out of practice/shape now to keep up that level of service from the get go. Going forward they will get the message though

We've been doing 11/12 flights per day on certain days of the week for about a month now, so it's no great uplift. Interesting that there are still lots on furlough and yet we've employed a number of agency staff...

True but you are applying logic to senior management, from past experience that doesn't tend to end well. As far as the agency staff are concerned I'm going to guess they are pulling the same trick BT did back when I worked for them as they could get agency staff for half the wage cost.

I have read the destructions on the oven cleaner stuff. The H&S warnings are terrifying (rubber glove [included], goggles [not included  ] and ventilation advice.
