That is three people I know that have been to Napa recently... One had a sensational time and the other same result as you - where did you stay?

Melpo Antia apartments ..that was nice ..well, rooms were, service OKish.?...

The beach place was mental expensive ..   we booked a "cabana" thingy online ..but when we got there ..they said the price had gone UP !!!!! since we booked ...   150 snotters ...   (What a brilliant idea ..we have no f88king tourists ...so put the prices up !!!  ).....oh we got a "free" fruit platter ....  

The food place was SAGE ...first thing pissed me off ....the menu was presented by a QR sign ...   WHY for the love of god WHY ..who wants to read a menu on your phone in 2mm writting ..   I didn;t take my phone as we were going for a meal and wasn't going to use it ..this concept seemed to puzzle people ..   so the staff rushed about and produced an I-pad for me ....

All very sounded lovely ..I had chicken in saffron ..it was shite ...all great presentation etc with ribbons of veg etc ...but the chicken leg was overcooked ..the breast under ..   the brochilli was so hard we had a joke to see if anyone could cut it .!!!  (I like aldente but this was raw ) ....Miss T asked for the "starter" Mussels as a "main" ..generally this means a bigger portion ..but NO ..5 of them .. ... 

the place is set right on a  main road so locals blasting past in cars with stereos pumping so not great atmosphere either ... and the pub next door overlooks it..(5ft away)..

If you want to "pose" this is the place ...if you want good food avoid ....

Some friends went to a sensational hotel - all inclusive for €109 per night... They reckon the food was wonderful...

There are some amazing deals on ...for "locals" (take resident slip or leccy bill etc ) ..we went with friends who arranged everything ..our place some had wrist bands for All-inc ..and I imagine that would have been good ..hotel was nice ..on-site bar great staff..(BUT on site bar closed 1am  too early for most on hols )..

Miss T and I talking about doing it again (the deal offer) ..maybe Larnaca.. ...
