I have evidence which I'm prepared to take to court and charge them £150 an hour for my time plus £230 an hour plus expenses for Sophie the solicitor's time

Been there and done that. Still lost. The law is changing soon. Appeal and they reduce the charge (£20  in my case) and pay up.
