I feel unclean in Argos, though I do use it, but one has to move amongst peasants  noooo:

The one in Redhill is not like this, although I miss the little pencils and order forms.

It took 4 minutes from ordering on the tablet thingy to walking out of the shop. This Argos is inside the mahoooosive Sainsbury's, the majority of customers inside are queueing at the Gourmet Sushi counter.

I prefer the Sainsbury's collection place too. The actual Argos near me is like a homeless shelter with big wimmin in  tight clothing with screaming toddlers  noooo:  I think they may be flogging cheap White Lightning  rubschin:

Off to buy a new tellybox...

Oooooh... Drool:

Popcorn:

Nothing flashy - just a (relatively) simple 43in Toshiba smart TV thingy.

Oh...  sadsmiley30:

4K tho...?

4K Ultra HD, Secure Smart Hybrid Log Gamma Dolby Vision. Whatever that all means...

 cloud9:

I bought it for only 2 reasons :-

1. It's a Toshiba. My 11 year old laptop is a Toshiba and it has never put a foot wrong.
2. It was cheap - £269 from Argos.

 Thumbs:
  Thumbs: Thumbs:

Now all TMR has to do is spend a fortune each month on 4k sources.
Well, whatever, nevermind

  that's the way I look at it too.  But I guess you wouldn't have got a basic HD TV that size any cheaper

Had to take some bits to the new place and NOd offered to "help". He dropped the lot  cussing:

Then he asked if I needed more help with some more stuff. I declined the offer  evil:
