Oh noes...  cry:

Worst thing was he died IN the vets ...so guilt setting in ..if only took him hour earlier etc .. noooo:   or did the shock of car ride do it ..so should have not taken him ...etc... noooo:

If you are using a standard keyboard prise the keys up and make sure there isn't anything trapped underneath them. You should be able to replace the keys afterwards without an issue.

Failing that you could always try voice recognition, what's the worst that could happen..  whistle:

You did everything you reasonably could when you reasonably could.
 
But losing a pet is awful.  Everyone understands when you lose a relative and expects you to grieve but the protocols just aren't there for pets.  It's gut wrenching.
 
So sorry to hear and RIP Apey's kitten
