Our landlady has decided to replace the gates to the house .....the 2 Cypriot "workmen " are here .. noooo:  trying to knock down part of a two foot thick concrete wall with a electric drill ... noooo: noooo:  in fairness they have plenty of drill bits .. lol: lol:

this may get it's own thread ,by the way it is going... rubschin:.....

The best thing is ..........the only reason they have to knock down the wall is because they made the gates too big ... ;D...in fairness , the bloke who came to measure up ....seemed to have had a good liquid lunch .... ;D

Just looked out and thought ..."they have the same industrial extension leads as me ? " ..... rubschin:

NO ...it IS mine .. evil:  which also means they have had a rummage though my shed ... eeek: noooo:

As I type ..2 more men have arrived...all looked puzzled... noooo:

Kind of a surreal day at work. Earlier in the week I had a............lets just say word with the new junior manager after he left the chef in tears for no good reason. Apparently this seems to be a superhuman act as far as the younger staff members are concerned so some of them have been treating me as if I just pulled Excalibur from the stone.  noooo:

Seeing as that's in Pissouri, has the hill been told to stay in one place?

Well it was all a bit bizarre and coincidentally (re other posts) one cried off sick and one left early unwell.  But it was all what family Christmases are: near proof that Sartre was right and hell really is other people.  But the food was good and I ate far too much.

My 5 year old niece gave me a red card because she organised a game where we had to draw a Santa or a flower and I draw a 1kg bag of Homepride flour.
