Malaga is a walkable sized large town but it has a lot in it incl a very friendly atmosphere, loads of interesting shops that are going to cost us a fortune tomorrow and loads and loads of attractive women. Probably got loads of attractive blokes too, I wouldn't know and ain't asking Mrs K.Another short break modelled after what Miss D outlined some years back. BA flight + hotel just seems to work. Especially good sitting on our terrace with our second free bottle of Cava looking at that unfinished cathedral. Top tip: when you're taking your wife out for her birthday and there's a 'superior room' option always tick the box.Yup. And nice Moorish and Roman remainsSo today has been the market, shops (not too much damage but somehow we bought 6 paella pans). The Moor palace and the castle (a knackering 450 ft above road level walk). Also great lunch at the Breakfast at Tiffany’s cafe (corny name or what)Being that Philistine the various museums have all been ignored. Picasso can turn in his grave. Tomorrow is the trek home but we’ve really liked Malaga. Might well come back.

Well that was a bit weird. About 40 years ago we bought a print of a struggling young artist in Brighton. Today we chanced on his studio and gallery in Ditchling when we had 30 minutes to kill while Mrs K was having a ring repaired. Spent ages talking to him (well mostly him telling us his life story) and yes bought two prints (his originals go for North of £10k each)andhttps://www.windowgallery.co.uk/
