A day of hottyness, insect bites, ill-advised  bikini wearing  eeek: and free beer and ice cream from The Lonely Widow scared2:

Well if you hadn't been wearing the bikini you wouldn't have been bitten  whistle:

He also won our Fantasy Football league this year the little upstart.  But he's an Arsenal supporter so you'll be pleased.

Awesome plane for its time the Herc but I think you'll find they were the much bigger A400s.  We haven't got any Hercs anymore.

And what BM said with that  whistle:, Humanitarian purposes my arse.  Restocking with missiles for taking out Iranian drones far more likely.
Well, whatever, nevermind

A400s fly into RAF Akrotiri...

Apey is much more likely to have seen the Hercs flying in and out of Pafos - I think they are RCAF... Also a regular procession of C-17 Globemasters on finals over our village into Pafos....

Weird plane the V22 Osprey.  One of those iconic aircraft I've bid to get equipment on.  . . and failed.

The military have tried to cancel it several times but Congress - who think they know more about aircraft than the people that operate them, things you cannot make up - have insisted the US military use it.  It looks brilliant but those that remember the Fairey Rotodyne know it's not easy managing that vertical to horizontal flight transition and fuel economy is poor.
