6 pin bowling and then off to a meal and concert (Justin Hayward)

78  eeek:
Well a mixed day.  6 pin bowling was (just) 8 pin bowling (452 in 3 games)  ;D, Meal was brilliant and the concert wasn't bad at all, worth seeing. Short at 90 minutes incl encore but included all his well known material from Moody Blues and War of the Worlds.  Hayward still has the voice and can do a decent lead guitar. Probably a mistake not to use a normal rhythm section.  Overall 3.5 stars out of 5

But betwixt meal and concert was a 200 yard walk and as we left the restaurant the mother of all downpours suddenly hit with no warning.  And someone had left her coat in the car so some mug (moi) had to go get it and walk back with one ruined umbrella and then back t'other way.  So despite lots of use of the hot air dryers in the loos, I spent the concert soaked  evil:.

Well, whatever, nevermind
