How much is he paid?

OVER £100,000, yes ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND POUNDS per bastard week! cussing:

This is one of the main reasons I never go to footie matches anymore, and if a few humdred thousand more followed my stance, and that includes NOT buying the clubs ceqazily priced merchandise, they'd soon bring these petulant obscenely and grossly overpaid little pricks back down to earth. cussing:

That's bloody sheeples for you though ey? Blind leading the blind. ::)

Hooray for our side!

I am at work on Wednesday afternoon. I was going to try and swap shifts but methinks I shall content myself with the text feed on the internet.

I understand that if we draw the next one 2-2 and the other teams in the group of sleep draw 0-0 there shall be a drawing of lots.

This could be our chance!

Capello's earnings this year to manage the team are in the region of £5,000,000.

Quote
"The players play well during the training. I don't know why it is. I want to see the spirit of the team and I didn't see it this evening" stated Capello.

Wayne Rooney apologised last night for his post-match outburst against the England fans who booed him following the team's shambolic World Cup 0-0 draw with Algeria.

As jeers rained down from the stands in Cape Town on Friday night the England striker snarled into a TV camera: "It's nice to see your own fans booing you. That's what loyal support is."

But the Manchester United star back-tracked last night and blamed his comments on his frustration at England's terrible on-field performance.

In a statement he said: "I am as passionate about the England team as anyone. Last night, on reflection, I said things in the heat of the moment that came out of frustration of both our performance and the result. For my part I apologise for any offence caused by my actions at the end of the game.

Oh that's ok then Wooney, our little national treasure, we understand.  happy100

No doubt though, no doubt at all, lessons will have been learned from this little outburst from the  vile disgusting mealey mouthed little twat, and we rest in peace in the knowledge that this will never happen again now, can't we children? cloud9:

Does anyone really think that Rooney actually strung those words together unaided?

Meanwhile this has to be the most dire World Cup in years. I have yet to see a match that I found exciting or even enjoyable.
 rubschin:
I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that most of the players seem to play either in the Premier League or European equivalents and are thus at the end of a very long season. There are few games when names normally heard on Match of the Day don't seem to crop up.

Another possible problem is said to be the new ball which few have experienced before. It does seem to have led to some goalkeeping "howlers".

The refereeing seems pretty OK to me although at a different standard to our Premier League .... it might be interesting to see if the yellow and red cards are going to regular Premier League players more than any other group of players.

For sure the poor performances cannot be blamed on the weather (which has been ideal) the pitches which have surprised me in their appearance (far better than Wembley) or the spectators who have packed the stadia and made all the right noises without any apparent signs of trouble.

Apart from the poor quality football being played it would seem to be a very well organised and planned tournament.

Do not think they can blame the long european season , most S american players have played some thing like 60 games this season and still seem fresh ,I think it is amasing that england, france, germany and italy could all go out in the first stage...  Come on New Zealand.............

True but those South American Players are mostly playing in European teams ~ which is the pint I am making. ALL the games have been pretty average if not downright poor. Not what you would expect from the "World's Top Players". Even Brazil were not exactly awe inspiring last evening now were they?
Kaka? World's best player? Not on last night's showing noooo:
