Christmas cards
« on: December 07, 2009, 04:51:02 PM »
I've just bought some ~ in fact some more because I still had some unsent from last year  redface:. They're more seasonal and decorative than Christmas. The thing is, since losing many addresses in the great Data Disaster of October (cited elsewhere) I'm having to email certain peeps to enquire as to their address  whacky115

Why not send eCards I'm thinking? Would it be frowned upon? Obviously there are certain relatives who have to be sent real cards; Aunt Lettuce's grasp of technology barely extends to operating the remote on her television.
I'm sure the nephews won't be bothering with Christmas cards; I imagine they'll be sending festive texts and dubious YouTube links. I don't feel I can do that with customers for example... are the protocols shifting as well as the poles?  rubschin:

Proper cards, hand written personal messages and HAND WRITTEN addresses (NO STICKY LABELS!!) show people that you really have thought about them. Either put the real Christmas spirit into the event or simply forget it in the name of consumerism.
