Yes Old Bear, I think he is jealous cos my boys still look to their Mum for stuff. 
He is a bit old and lonely inside that bucket i'm thinking. 
Going by what you've told us in the past, I'd say you are rightly proud of the lads, especially when you see and hear about all the goings on with much of the dross of his age slithering around the streets.
BM's just a jealous old grouchy buzzard.
