I tactfully used and timed the opportunity to ask why she hasn't been on it.

If my own experience is anything to go by she has gubbed her laptop and doesn't want to tell you. Whilst she is out turn it on and see if it still works.
If it works then she has fallen out with someone on faceache or similar and is avoiding them.
If it doesn't work you have your answer ~ just sit back and wait to be told.
