What an awful picture of our world today Mr H.

I am so sorry to hear of your woeful year and it puts our trivial problems in perspective.

It would be hard to imagine 2010 being worse than your 2009, so it must get better.

Keep your spirits up and be assured that those in here do truly sympathise.

At least you are here to tell the tale. I used to live and work in that area ..... wasn't nice then and sounds that it has not improved.

BUT it is an ill wind and all that .... we have your company again  ;D
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Thanks for the kind words, strange but I describe the experience more as weird than anything.

The fact that I'd had a good few sherrys before hand is perhaps one reason I'm about to tell the tale, the amount of times they attempted to kick me in the head far surpassed the 5 or so that made contact.  Also, even in the bleak moments the rebellion still kicks in, as they announced themselves "we are the clapham massive innit" I was tempted to offer my hand and ask if we could meet up later for tea and cake.

The problem with your modern day criminal is though their blatant disregard for life, I was hardly going to fight for the pitiful posessions upon my person but they seemed intent on violence.  I'm also sure there was a time whereby you could have offered them the valuables and requested the medication and train tickets, I was unlikely to open my gob for fear of getting a foot in it.

A couple of weeks later, I thought all was fine.  It was the oncoming of nightmares, not liking the dark and shitting myself when someone was in my 'personal space' that suggested this wasn't the case.  I nearly launched an old dear in tescos for tapping me on the shoulder to request an item from the top shelf.

All told though, still here whether it be god's will or pure fluke and determined not to let some retarded fuckwits have too great an effect on my life.  Whether this in part has caused some of the other issues I am not too sure (maybe looking for an easy answer) but I have been an absolute fucker to be around.  I can though only choose my own path to tread and I'm determined that it'll be a far cheerier one this year!

 ;D
