Well?  Shrugs:

Just absolutely ripped into the poor gerl at Cheshire West.
NO collections anywhere in the borough until the weather improves. eeek:

So, I can werk. YOU can werk, the postman can ride around on his bike delivering, the buses are running etc etc, yet MIS-mangagement deem it's too dangerous for the binnies to come out.
I asked and suggested they are probably sitting on thier fat lazy arses playing cards and drinking blue and white striped pint sized mugs of tea, chortling at us all.
Utter utter utter utter bone idle scruffy lazy heathen utter bastards. Explode:

I suggested that the bloody financial dept laid out a bit of OUR money to purchase some snow chains for the wagons, and some grippy overboots for the work shy bone idle workforce.
She couldn't make any comment apparently.

Trip to the tip beclons, unless THAT is closed for H&S reasons too of course.
This cuntree makes me want to puke...violently,on the council office doorsteps. sick2:

We haven't had our recyclable rubbish taken for over four weeks (two collections) but I guess they'll get around to eventually. Chill out man.

I can live with that side, but non collection for household rubbish is totally unacceptable because of a bit of snow and ice.
Just a bloody excuse to skive off, that's all it is. noooo:

From the Epping Forest DC website:

All waste and recycling collection services have resumed following the temporary suspension of the service yesterday.

The Council is aware of the roads that have been missed and is endeavouring to collect as much waste as possible. Where it is safe to do so, we will start to collect from areas that have waited the longest for a collection. However because of continuing icy conditions it may not be possible to collect from all of these areas.

Please continue to put out waste and recycling for collection in the normal way. We will collect all side waste (additional waste placed next to your container) during this bad weather period. If you would like any further information please contact 01992 564608.

Thank you for your continued understanding and co-operation.

Calm down dear. I'm sure your local council will get around it as well.

We had a full collection on Boxing Day  eeek:
And another on New Year's day  eeek: eeek:

Nothing to do with snow and ice I know but since Denbighshire County Council was threatened with "special measures" having been deemed a "Failing Council" last year things seem to happen that would never be contemplated in the past. Last year we went 4 weeks without a collection over Christmas and the New Year.

Collection as normal today ~ although they are having problems with some of the outlying farms and cottages up in the hills.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

It's not really even the refuse mounting up that's getting me wound up, it's just the usual bone ideleness and ANY excuse mentality that really pisses me right off.
As I say, my good mate the postie is managing to get around on his pushbike and greet me with a cheery 'good morning'..as usual, which is why HE got crimbo tip and the rest didn't
