We don't do a weekly shop, I usually get things each weekday, at the weekend, we both go

Tends to be shared ~ I go online to Asda or Tesco and SWWTBO bellows her requirements from the kitchen.

Mrs#2 picks up stuff we need/want as she passes Lidl/Aldi on way to and from work.

I usually buy cheese/butter/cream from local dairy as needed. Some veg from farm shop en route. Some meat comes from lil bruvver (butcher) and other meat comes on line from Scotland or from local game keeper. Much depends on what we want to eat.

Most clothing (Self and boys) is bought on line by me.
I refuse to shop for shoes/clothes with Mrs#2 or the THW ....life is just too short.

I seem to pay for most of it.

Well I do it here. I've just re-organised the cupboards so I can see and do a stock check at a glance now, so I know exactly what we need and not as the case may be.  
All tins are now label facing outwards in a contents by contents order rather than just 'lobbed in', any old way will do, willy nilly style.

Mrs Growler thinks there's summat mentally wrong with me.
I told her "no, you're just a jealous scruffy disorganised old moose"

She used to write the shopping list out for me UNTIL I did the reorganising.
Found so so much stuff buried in the back of the cupboards that time had forgotten about, even some WW2 rations ffs!
