Milk
« on: January 09, 2010, 06:22:26 PM »
Semi-skimmed, 2 ltr bottle thereof.

Round our way:

Sainsburys: One and a half British pounds

Iceland:  One British pound

Farmfoods : One and  a half British pounds for TWO bottles! 75p for 2 ltres.

Bargain!

They had run out due to 'weather conditions'!

The farmers are having to throw it away because the milk tankers can't get to the farms

So that may explain Farmfood's decision to sell the cheapest milk in the universe then.

'Oooh, look how cheap it is! Come on in and buy some more shite! Oops, sorry, ran out. What a bastard. Sausages for a quid a hundred weight? There is some meat in them. Well a bit like. Eh?'

The universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements. Energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest.

Not fond of milk myself Miss D. Never eat cereals so have little use for the stuff. Kids, of course, guzzle it by the gallon  ::)
