Kicked in the ribs
« on: January 12, 2010, 05:50:18 PM »
The new year's bout of 'flu has left me with a cough which just won't go away. I must have coughed so much the other night that I might have pulled a muscle or something ~ feels like someone's kicked me in the ribs down the right hand side  surrender:

Every little cough, and arghhhhh me ribs  cry:.  I might OD on Benylin tonight  rubschin:

Ouch - poor you

What can we do to help , apart from not making you laugh which shouldn't be too much of a problem.

The idea of man hugs from the bear ...  noooo:, but the thought's appreciated, ta!

The usual anaesthetic seems to be working  ;), that, combined with a swig or three of Benylin should see me into the land of nod later.  surrender:

I take heart in that old couplet:

It won't be the cough that sees you off,
But the coffin they carry you off in.
