Make it your business to inform their respective parters, the CEO and the Evening Standard at the earliest opportunity ~ and take her job eveilgrin:

There is no gain without pain and it is better that you gain from their pain than that somebody else does.

I can only repeat my earlier comment.

It is a mess, not an uncommon one but a mess for all that, and anyone nearby will get splashed when the brown stuff hits the revolving object as it most surely will.

You need to disengage yourself as soon as possible and about the only way to do that now is to tell someone higher up the food chain than either of them and play the innocent angel1
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.
